A beautiful stay in Hotel Glacier Grindelwald. On a warm summer day, we’ve arrived at hotel Glacier in Grindelwald. The scenery could not be more impressive. It was a very clear day where you could see all the surrounding mountains. The train station was very nearby and after a delicious lunch and a quick fresh up we went up in the mountains. We took the train up to the station called ‘Kleine Scheidegg’ where we had a magnificent view over the stunning mountain scenery.
The hotel is a small boutique hotel and just opened its doors in 2018 after a huge renovation from the new owners. The modern, but very cozy decor fits beautiful in this setting where the surroundings are like paintings on a postcard. We had a great room with a balcony overlooking the stunning mountain scenery and the famous mountain the ‘Eiger’. The food was delicious, the staff very friendly and helpful. We had a beautiful stay and like to come back any time.
