Recipe for a festive Rum Chococcino
A variation of the hot chocolate is what I call a Chococcino. It is a hot chocolate with frothed milk instead of whipped cream.
What you need for 2 mugs is a 125 gram dark chocolate bar of 60%. If you think it’s not sweet enough you can always add some extra sugar in it. Add 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder and mix it in. Simmer the milk and add the chocolate bar in small pieces and stir till it’s all creamy and without lumps. Heat but let not boil the milk. Add a dash of your favourite Rum into the mugs. Prepare your frothed milk like you normally do for your cappuccino and leave it on top of your hot chocolate. For taste and decoration add 2 cinnamon sticks into your mug. Sprinkle with some crumbled chocolate biscuits and cocoa powder. Or decorate like you wish. Cheers and Enjoy!
