Restaurant Yaffo Tel-Aviv, simplicity and honesty

The restaurant Yaffo in Tel-Aviv is a great example of simplicity and honesty. Designed by Baranowitz + Kronenberg Architects for famous chef Haim Cohen. Well-known chef Haim Cohen is one of the best chef’s and also one of the winners of Time Out Tel Aviv’s Eating & Drinking Awards in 2016.

An industrial style but with warm influences because of the woodwork. The chef’s Haim Cohen vision when designing this place is by using simplicity and honesty as primer building materials.

They make use of raw and ordinary finishes, however, they are only their starting point. The restaurant envelop is done on the very basic materials: water, cement, aggregates and steel. Like as in Haim’s cuisine: water, flour, and olive oil.
